Dry Thursday through Monday, highs 66 to 72. NWS says a high near 69 Thursday, a low around 42 Thursday night and a high near 69 Friday; our blend of NWS and four computer models says 72, 45 and 72, so that's our forecast. The models disagree on Thursday night's low, so that is less certain.

What changed since yesterday's Scoop: not much. NWS's highs and lows through Friday moved less than 4 degrees, and its rain chances less than 20 points. NWS Northern Indiana forecasters' key messages this morning: "Dense fog is expected this morning, particularly along and east of Interstate 69. More patchy fog is possible tonight with the greatest chances across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Some locally dense fog is possible again early Thursday morning." "Dry weather will continue through the weekend with temperatures slightly above normal. Temperatures are expected to cool to slightly below normal by next Tuesday and Wednesday."

Right now there are no watches, warnings or advisories for La Porte County or for Porter and Lake counties next door. SPC shows no thunderstorm or severe risk here through Friday, and WPC shows no flooding-rain risk at La Porte through Sunday.
