How we keep ourselves honest

  • We grade our forecasts. The Track Record compares every Daily Scoop forecast with what the La Porte airport actually recorded.
  • We log what really happened. Hard Hat Weather records the actual weather at each job site every workday.
  • Official warnings come first. We pass along NWS, GDACS and USGS alerts as issued and link to the original. We never issue our own warnings.
