Mostly sunny and dry Wednesday through Sunday, highs 66 to 69. NWS says a high near 69 Thursday; our blend of NWS and four computer models says 72, so that's our forecast. The models disagree on tonight's low and Wednesday night's low, so those are less certain.
What changed since yesterday's Scoop: not much. NWS's highs and lows through Thursday moved less than 4 degrees, and its rain chances less than 20 points. NWS Northern Indiana forecasters' key messages this morning: "Dry and pleasant weather persists through the entire week with highs either side of 70, lows in the 40s, and no rain until next week at the earliest." Yesterday we said a high of 66; the La Porte airport got 68.
Right now there are no watches, warnings or advisories for La Porte County or for Porter and Lake counties next door. SPC shows no thunderstorm or severe risk here through Thursday, and WPC shows no flooding-rain risk at La Porte through Saturday.
