Free for everyone. Kept going by neighbors.
La Porte Weather Now and the La Porte After Dark stories are free, with no paywall. If they're useful or fun for you, you can chip in. It helps pay for research time, the tools that run the site, and more local stories.
Three ways to chip in.
A cup of coffee
Says thanks for the daily forecast and keeps the site running.
Back the next story
Helps pay for the research behind the next La Porte After Dark story, checked against the records.
Keep the lights on
Helps cover the tools and hosting, and more local history pages.
How it works, plainly: these are one-time gifts through PayPal, not a subscription, and you can enter any amount on the PayPal page. The three amounts are only suggestions. Nothing is locked behind a gift, and a gift never changes a forecast or an alert.
Not ready to chip in? That's fine.
Read the latest legends in La Porte After Dark, or see why we built this on Our mission. Sharing a story with a neighbor helps just as much.
