Sunday forecast: cooler, breezy and mostly dry
The latest NWS point forecast calls for a high near 76° around La Porte. Rain chances stay low through the morning, then rise to roughly 20–30% during the afternoon and early evening. North winds around 10–15 mph will make Lake Michigan conditions more hazardous even when skies look manageable inland.
Sunday night turns cooler, with temperatures dropping toward the lower 50s. Monday is forecast sunny and dry with a high near 74°. Warmer air returns Tuesday, followed by a better chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday. Timing and storm strength can change, so later forecasts will be more useful than a single early outlook.
Three verified Sunday plans
